Maybe a centering device...I have used one a friend made me for years and it makes it easy to center the stand on the break when the break is in the middle of the windshield.

I agree with Billy on this and I have used a lathe center punch 1/2" I believe for years and it works perfect EXCEPT it is made out of steel and could be a problem if ever dropped on the windshield. I would like to see one made from aluminum and it just needs to slide into the injector tripod instead of actually screwing into the threads of the injector to save a little time. It would also need to be priced affordable.

I would also like to see some sort of SPRING added to the cords on the lights where the cord comes out of the light itself. Mine always seem to break the coating of the cord here and then before long the 2 wires are showing. The spring would have to come out of the black screw on nut that goes into the lamp and the plug would have to be able to hold the spring in it. This would stop all the broken cords.

Yup! I agree with the idea of a centering device. Sometimes the door of the car is locked and there will be a time delay in trying to center the injector to the break.

I have been using a centering tool for about 4 years and would not be without it. A retired machinest made several of them for me out a polycarbon rod which does not hurt the glass. I also use my old curring light to attach to the inside of a windshield when the chip is in the dark area of the glass. The ultraviolet rays will not cure through the plastic. It would be nice to have a mirrored light to attach, maybe I will work on that.

Here is quick work bench you can make yourself. I use it when I work on RVs. Get an old walker, a piece of closet shelving from Home Depot, 4 garden tool clamps, rivet them onto the shelving and there you go. Takes about an hour to make and comes in handy. Total cost is $6. if you have an old walker.
